Call time 00.04 (midnight); male in 30's stabbed in front left chest with short kitchen knife by another male at his home in the middle of Penrith; attended to by NWAS paramedics plus two B.A.S.I.C.S. Doctors from Penrith (as part of BEEP Fund Ltd.); he had suffered a serious injury to his chest & was given immediate treatment by the doctors & paramedics before being transported by ambulance to Carlisle, accompanied by the doctors as well for ongoing treatment en route.
