We are delighted at Sharrow Bay to announce our year of support for local charity The BEEP Fund.
BEEP is a charity which has the
potential to touch all of our lives. In a rural community having access to
advanced emergency medical care prior to reaching hospital can be critical. We
have the upmost admiration for the doctors and other volunteers who give their
time to provide such an essential service in our region.
We will be selling raffle tickets at
the hotel throughout the year and in November will be holding a fundraising
Gala Dinner.
Our guests have been very generous
over the years in helping us to support local charities and we look forward to
helping BEEP to achieve their goals of equipment and training this year. Oliver

Response from the BEEP Fund Ltd
On behalf of the Doctors, Trustees & Committee Members of the BEEP Fund Ltd., I would like to say that we are extremely grateful to the Sharrow Bay Hotel for their huge generosity in pledging to raise funds for our charity over the coming year. We are highly honoured that we have been chosen by them as their nominated charity this year. We totally depend on fundraising initiatives such as this to continue to provide advanced emergency medical care at the roadside & in the pre-hospital environment. Plans for this year include the equipping of the seven BEEP Doctors cars with a more up to date level of equipment as well as focussing on more advanced trauma care training.
By supporting the Charity in this way, members of the public including those working at or visiting the Sharrow Bay Hotel, will be directly contributing to the saving of lives & reducing the impact of serious injuries on many casualties in our region. As well as raising these much needed funds, we are aware that this venture will also provide a significant amount of publicity which will hopefully also have a knock on effect in stimulating other individuals or local organisations to also raise more funds for the Charity.
